We are excited to announce that Mr. Adam Freeman has been called as our new Secondary Principal effective July 1st. Mr. Freeman has met with many of our faculty, staff and Board members. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sport’s Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, a Master’s degree in Teaching from Marian University, and is currently working to complete his second Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Western Governor’s University. Adam’s wife, Dr. Kathryn Freeman is also a Liberty graduate (’07). She is currently the Chief Osteopathic Proctology Resident within the Community Health Network. Mrs. Suahil Housholder has been called as our new Guidance Counselor effective July 1st. She is taking over for Mrs. Tish Respondek, who has been serving in that role as well as Missions Coordinator. Mrs. Respondek will continue to oversee our Secondary Mission’s programs. Mrs. Housholder is a native of the Cayman Islands. She has served as the Controller of the Youth Opportunity Center and served as Controller and Assistant Treasurer at Anderson University. She is married to Dr. Aaron Housholder who is Professor of English at Taylor University. They have two Liberty students (Scotty and Alivia). Please help us welcome Suahil!
One of our greatest challenges is the fact that we have lost contact with many of our past alumni and former constituency. Jason Chappell has been called to the role of Assistant Head of School/Athletic Director. In addition to Athletics, Jason will focus on rebuilding relationships and strengthening communications with our constituency. Mr. Chappell is a Liberty alum (’91) and this is his 13th year serving at Liberty. Please help us welcome Jason in this new role!
